It was a Thomas Christmas

Dick and Diane came to visit us in mid-December, so Owen got to have an early Christmas. He scored some serious Thomas loot (PJs, train tracks, bath toys, etc..) and was so excited. Little did he know that was just the beginning since Santa Clause came to town two weeks later with TONS more!

Time to go home and decorate

We had our first Thanksgiving in Seattle, which was a lot of fun and pretty low-key. The next day, we met up with the Matins and Chris and Amy and went tree hunting. Owen had a blast running around and probably wiped out at least 50 times. He just rubbed the dirt off each time and kept going.

Found you!

Uncle Chris is funny!

Counting to 10 (minus the 7)

The only way we can get Owen to say the number 7 is if he is bribed with a "num num", so we are hoping that it will soon come out of his mouth voluntarily. We'll see.....

Can you name the family member?

On the mend at Children's Hospital

Thanks again to everyone for their support these past few weeks. Owen is doing great now and we are optimistic that this strange Kawasaki Disease will become a distant memory soon.

Coloring the fish

We started a bad thing in the hospital by letting Owen color the fish on the floor. It made him very happy, but now he thinks he can color on floors at home.

Tree hugger...

My two trophies

My team won the golf tourney that Dick puts on each year and I also got a trophy for longest putt, which was pretty cool. Especially since I hadn't planned on playing and have the back of an 80 year old man!

Does this bring out the blue in my eyes?

Fun day on the pontoon!

We had a lot of fun out on the lake during our visit to WI. Owen really liked the pontoon and loved hanging with his cousins.

4th of July at the Matin's

We had so much fun with the Matins over the 4th. Owen and Amelia got to play together and there were lots of animals for Owen to chase after. He especially loved the horses (or as he says, "neighs"). He still looks at us, says neigh and then signs "please". Pretty cute, but there are no horses in Shoreline.

Giving Kisses!

Vacuuming in my new swimwear

Just like the kid in "Parenthood"

I always joked that my child would be the type to run around with a bucket on his head. Looks like I was right!

I LOVE to Vacuum!!

Commencement in Berkeley

We went down to Berkeley for Misti's Commencement, which was great! Izzie got to escort her mom across the stage and Owen had the best time playing with his cousins. The 80+ degree weather was a complete bonus.

Walking with my ladies

So far, Owen has taken about 8 steps on his own. He is getting a little braver every day and his wipe outs aren't as extreme. We hope he will be an official "walker" by next month. Good milestone for him, but a lot more work and redirecting for mom and dad.

Giving love to my buddy, Aidan.

Look mom, teeth!

Owen likes pointing out teeth and his belly button these days. Unfortunately, Aidan's teeth are just coming in, so it will be a little while before Owen pokes at the real ones.
